Wall Street closes mixed after trimming gains into the close
The US stocks closed mixed on Thursday as investors' confidence was fueled by jobless claims and ECB no bearish stance while market are now focusing on nonfarm payrolls and employment report.
The Dow Jones finished the day less than 1% from record high while the S&P closed a new record high in the session. The Nasdaq touched 14-year highs before closing lower.
The Dow Jones advanced 61.71 points or 0.38% to finish the day at 16,421.89; The S&P 500 added 3.22 points or 0.17% to close at 1,877.03; while the Nasdaq Composite eased 5.85 points or 0.13% to 4,352.13.
US equities close mixed
Dow up 0.38%, S&P up 0.17% and Nasdaq down 0.13%
Asian bourses set to open higher, Nikkei +1.2%, Heng Seng +0.24% and the local ASX/200 +0.15%

US Closed Slightly Higher - 09.06.2014
After a negative opening, US equities bounced and turned positive for the day. The Dow Jones is rising 0.07%, the S&P 500 0.08% and the Nasdaq 0.31%.
In Europe, stocks rose marginally on a calm Monday. The Dax gained 0.22%, in London the FTSE 100 rose 0.24% while the Cac 40 rose 0.17%.
Gold is unchanged, hovering around $1,253 while crude oil is having the best day in almost a month as it gains more than 1.50%.

Wall Street closes with strong note; Dow above 17,000 - 03.07.2014
The US stocks market closed the week with a strong note as investors' confidence was fueled by the better than expected US employment report in June. The Dow Jones finally broke above the 17,000 key level.
The Dow Jones advanced 92.02 points or 0.4% to finish the day at 17,068.26; 1.28% positive in the week.
The Nasdad Composite climbed 28.19 points or 0.63% to close at 4,485.92; 2.0% up in the week; the S&P 500 rose 10.82 points or 0.55% to 1,985.44; 1.25% positive in the week.

US Stocks closed weak - 07.07.2014
The Dow Jones an the S&P performed its first negative day in four while the Nasdaq closed its biggest single day drop since May.
The Dow Jones declined 44.05 points or 0.26% to close the day at 17,024.21; the S&P 500 eased 7.79 pts or 0.39% to 1,977.65; while the Nasdaq lost 34.40 pts or 0.77% to 4,451.53.
A weak US dollar pushed the EUR/USD to the upside, despite falling stock in Europe and in Wall Street. The pair is trading now above 1.3600.

The US stocks market closed down on Tuesday despite major indexes contained big losses. The Nasdaq performed its worst day since May 6th.
The Dow Jones declined 117.59 points or 0.69% to finish at 16,906.62; the S&P 500 lost 13.94 pts or 0.70% to end at 1,963.71; while the Nasdaq Composite eased 60.07 pts or 1.35% to 4,391.46.
